Need to blitz a blemish? The spice turmeric is famed for it's anit-inflammatory properties and has been used in Indian medicine for years, Mix a pinch with water to form a paste, and apply this directly to the blemish to reduce redness.

Are you fed up of applying fake tan before you go to bed, only to wake up with streaky patches and a tan stained sheet?! If so, then before you climb into bed, exfoliate and moisturise your skin thoroughly before applying fake tan. Than blast your body with a hair dryer for a few minutes to dry any wet or tacky tanning patches. No more streaks!!

To prevent bubbles ruining your manicure, always roll the bottle gently between your palms, instead of shaking it, to mix the polish before you apply. It'll give you a great finish.

Can't afford expensive eye creams? Don't worry. You can prevent fine lines and wrinkles appearing by using your daily moisturiser on the area. Just make sure you dab it on, rather than rub it in, to avoid damaging the skin.

To create the perfect cat's-eye flick using a liquid liner, go along your upper lash line until you get to the corner of your eye, then follow the curve of your lower lash line, as if you were taking it up to meet the end of your brow. Stop just as you get to the brow bone.
